Novotel Montreal Center, Montreal

My stay at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were already cluttered with mini bar offerings but very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect, being very close to shops, restaurants, and only a short walk from the old Montreal and the Basilique Notre-Dame. The service, while mostly helpful, had some lapses in kindness except for the chairman at breakfast and the lady who cleaned the room. The dining, served on real plates with real cutlery, was fine and got me off to a good start each day.

The hotel is perfectly located, ideal for exploring Montreal on foot and enjoying the shopping and nightlife activities on St Catherine Street. The rooms felt spacious and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere, although the heating was a bit of a letdown. The service was consistently friendly and helpful, especially when we had an issue with a leaky pipe. However, the outdated breakfast room and limited dining options were disappointing. Overall, a reasonable value for money.
